Installing & Enabling Multi-sig Permissions
This feature requires installing an extension to your colony.
Configuring Multi-sig Permissions Extension
You are able to configure the threshold of approvals required for actions.
Assigning Multi-sig Permissions
You need to select the "Take actions via a multi-sig" option under the Authority field.
Creating an action with Multi-sig decision method
You will need to select the "Multi-sig" decision method from the dropdown options.
Approval process
The threshold needs to be reached by members who hold the correct multi-sig permissions for the action.
Rejecting and Cancelling
You are able to reject and cancel with a few conditions.
Actions that require multiple permissions
In some cases actions may require multiple core permission types, this is handled in the UI with the standard permissions, however, if members are awarded custom permissions then this may become a factor.
At the moment, only "Simple payment" requires multiple permissions, in which case, if users who only have some of the core permission types, they can still participate in the approval, but it will only count towards that specific permission and won't contribute to the approval of the other permission types that do not hold.
